A category that describes where a lead is in the sales process: new, estimating, estimate sent, approved, or paid. Used to track and prioritize follow-up actions.
Clear lead statuses help contractors prioritize their work. A lead in "sent" status needs a follow-up call. A lead in "approved" status needs to be scheduled. Tracking statuses prevents leads from going cold and getting lost.
"The contractor reviewed their dashboard on Monday morning: 3 leads were "new" and needed estimates, 7 were "sent" and needed follow-up calls."
